If I hit refresh on a page it sometimes refreshes directly but sometimes it takes up to 2 minutes to load. This is a normal textpage without any macros or anything.
Can i somehow figure out if its the host that I can blame or can it have something to do with my installation..?
And if its my installation, can i get more detail info where its getting stuck?
You can try to enable debugging in your web.config and than add ?umbDebugShowTrace=true to your website url. It will show a trace which might give more info.
This is a web host that we're using so that is not impossible.
The have just installed new powerful firewalls and changed Internet provider so that is probably a big reason.
They are looking in to this problem right now but I just want to make sure the problem is not in the installation.
I have just upgraded the installation to 4.7.1.1 (mysql db in the background) but the problem is just the same. This i a website with lot of pages and a big media archive.
Could very likely be a virus scanner then. I know AVG causes a huge slow-down with it's link scanner so I'm guessing it's something similar.. could be wrong though..

4.5.2 and not 4.0.5.2 :)

Thx fot the tip but the problem is mostly in the backend and I cant use debug there?
It would be interesting to see what is really happening when i hit a node in the tree, where it get stuck.
Have you got any virus scanners running on your server?

The host had a problem with routing that was solved this night so now everything runs smooth.
Thx for support!
