    Installation issue

    Hi All,

    I have tried installing umbraco 4.7.0 and 4.7.1.1 on my machine and i have downloaded the binaries and configured a site in IIS and browsed 'umbraco\umbraco.aspx' which is redirecting to login,aspx with out completing my installtion steps.

    I have been running other umbraco installtions sucessfully, but don't know why a new installation is not happening properly.Please advise.

    Hi Jayanthi

    Try follwoing this guide written by Sebastiaan Janssen: http://cultiv.nl/blog/2011/7/18/how-to-install-umbraco-manually/

    With this it should be possible for you to install it sucesfully.
