    Total newbie question: 404 File not found on published pages

    Hi,

    just started my quest with Umbraco 4.7. I have the following problem: although I have downloaded and installed Umbraco successfully, created a basic document type + template, created a new node and save + publish it, when I click on the Link to the document url (/homepage.aspx), I get the 404 - File not found page.

    What could be wrong? A misconfigured handler? An error in my templates? Any ideas?

    If you goto the node and goto properties is there a template assigned?  You can set the default template when creating the document type.
