    Manual install Umbraco 5 - Configuration Wizard not showing

    Hello,

    I'm trying to do a manual install of Umbraco v5.0.310.16 on Windows Server 2008. I've managed to set up the site within IIS7, however when I go to the install site all I can see is a page with the Umbraco background, and nothing else.

    Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? I've noticed in Internet Explorer the "Enhanced Security Configuration" is on, could this be preventing the Configuration Wizard from displaying?

    Hi Robert and welcome to the community! :)

    Have you made sure that the app pool is running .net 4 and integrated mode with the network service? And also have you made sure that the network service and iusr has the proper permissions set on the Umbraco root folder inherited all the way down?

    Not sure about the enhanced security configuration stuff in IE - perhaps try another browser instead?

    Also be aware that you might need to turn AVG off during installation, if this is installed on the server.
