Application Pool Best Configuration for a 64 bit Server Implementation
We have installed verision 5 of Umbraco and I would like to know the best practice configuration for the application pool on a IIS 7.5 Windows 2008 R2 64bit server?
Joel this is a bit of a leading question - it really depends on what you are going to be doing with the Umbraco system.
Umbraco is just another web based system that sits on IIS - you may be better just having a goole on 'setting up an IIS7.5 app pool for web based applications' - i'm pretty sure there are tons of articles on this already.
To add you could also just set up the standard app pool and go with that and see if it provided everything your application requires. If you have issues then you can look at what and why then.
