    How to work with Umbraco

    Hi Friends,

       I am new in Umbraco. How to start work with Umbraco Please give me the some guidelines about that.

       And one more is what is the advantages of Umbraco as compare to another CMS.

    There's a massive amount of information in the Wiki already. If you read all of that, you'll be a long way towards answering your own question.

    We can't exactly give you help if you don't tell us what platform you're targeting. If you're talking about open-source CMSes on .NET, then I believe that Umbraco is the clear leader.

    Have you read all of the info here too?

    You can use Microsoft's Web Platform Installer to get you started, or you can try out Umbraco online at Darren Ferguson's Umbraco Trials site.

    Warren Buckley's Creative Website Starter kit is a good place to start too.
