I understand that the umbraco database user should have ddladmin and securityadmin. What I don't understand is why the user needs these? Does anybody have an explanation?
Hi. Actually, the ddladmin/securityadmin permissions are required only for installation since the application has to create tables in the database. After installation ddl_reader and ddl_writer permissions should be enough.
