    Umbraco 5 + mySQL

Does anybody know how to install Umbraco 5 on a mySQL server?

I would like to have umbraco 5 on my Unoeuro webhotel without double the cost because I need a MS SQL database as well ..

Or does anybody know of a great Umbraco 5 compatible hosting company at reasonable prices ..?

    - I just get so tired if I should move all my business from Unoeuro, since it's so easy to work with them ..

From the Umbraco Codeplex download page for U5, it says this:

For databases, you'll need either Sql Server 2008 (not 2005), or you can use SqlCe4 (included)

Therefore, unless there's some hidden features, or third party hacks to do it, it doesn't work natively with mySQL.

    Hi Jonas

As Thomas is saying MySQL is currently not supported and I'm not sure if it will be in the future. (Unless a highly skilled person makes it possible I guess :)).

However you should be able to just use the embedded SqlCE database on unoeuro if you're not creating a large site.
