Does the latest version of Umbraco (the 5.x line) run on Mono?
And is the new database abstraction layer capable of running on MySQL? If so, is that due to NHibernate?

I don't know about Mono, I've not tried, but I'm pretty sure that currently it only supports MS SQL Server, and SQL Server CE for the database. I'm sure I've seen it mentioned that MySQL support is in the works though.
