Hello, I have installed Umbraco 4.0.2.1 as per Vista Instructions and all has worked except no styling of the installer pages and no images. The Database and installer worked but runway is just plain default text.
Umbraco doesn't limit you to a specific site design, you're free to build exactly the site you want. But that also means that, when you install umbraco, it is like an empty book waiting for you to write your award-winning novel. That is, it is empty.
Runway provides a very (very!) basic setup with a few doctypes and a couple modules to give you a foundation to get started with. It isn't meant to be a site that is full-featured or skinnable. Rather, it's a teaching aid and a common point of reference that everyone is familiar with.
If you'd like to begin with a more elaborate starter site, check out Warren's CWS2 package. It is available through the package repository and also in the Projects section of our.umbraco.org.
No Images or Styling with Installation or Runway

Any ideas?
