Go to http://umbraco.codeplex.com/SourceControl/list/changesets then on the right side there will be a drop-down box that currently says ALL. If you select that drop-down you will be able to select the version you want and then either download or browse the source code for that verions.
Then there is access to the source via Mercurial (which I just pasted from codeplex, not sure whether the layout will get screwed up once I hit submit on this post):
There are many Mercurial clients available that can be used with CodePlex. TortoiseHG is a popular Mercurial client that works as an extension in Windows Explorer. For more information please see Using TortoiseHG with CodePlex.
Where is the Binaries of V5 ??
Hi everybody, I couldn't find the binaries of the Umbraco V5.x...
Can anyone tell me how can I download the binaries? Are the binaries of V5.x ever published ?
Please light me up.
Thanks in advance :)
Version 5 has been discontinued, see http://umbraco.com/follow-us/blog-archive/2012/6/13/v5-rip.aspx and http://umbraco.com/follow-us/blog-archive/2012/6/13/cg12-keynote-video.aspx
If you still want it for some reason
http://umbraco.codeplex.com/releases/view/86766 (5.1)
http://umbraco.codeplex.com/releases/view/89065 (5.2 beta)
there will be a 5.2 final and that's it with version 5.
Hi Peter,
Yeah, I read about that, and I feel sorry that the great MVC version has been discontinued...
I'm need to change up the UI of the umbraco , because I need to localize to persian (Farsi) which is a Right-To-Left language
and as you know, all of the stylesheets and lots of pages and user controls should be changed...
I am on it by now, and currently have changed lots of files,
I wished I had the source code of Version 5 to make my own changes.
And I emendate! that I mean the Source code, not Binaries.
Any Idea about having the sources of V5?
Thanks again :)
