I am completely new and completely lost on the installation process.

I use umbraco at the place I work and am wanting to try installing/making my own site from scratch. My parents host a few websites on Hostfolio, so I was going to try to create and umbraco site in the subdomain: test.dataspoon.net. I followed the instructions in the Windows 2008 document (because I was running into dead ends with the 2003 documentation). I don't know if that is why it wasn't working or what I did wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
