Everything is fine on the file replication part and everything is working fine for content refresh on the 2 nodes using the distibuted calls feature.
The probleme is comming when we start using permissions (Public Access) on nodes since that informations seems to be stored in the access.config file. That file seems to not be updated by distributed calls when we restrict access to a content node.
Is that a known issue? Is there some workaround founded by the community?
Here is our environment
Umbraco 4.7.2
.NET 4
Windows Server 2008 + IIS 7
Anyway thanks to the core team for that great product
Is there somebody that have information about the issue encountered below? I've found that post from another user 9 month ago that never got response .
In umbraco 7.1.0 Load balance server 1 given public access and move the file(access.config) to the server 2 it's working fine no need to restart the IIS now to apply public access changes in Umbraco Node.Which is fine now as per your comment(http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-459) access.config in-memory.
Can we synchronize access.config file only in both the load balance server?
access.config issues in load balancing even with distributed call
I'm posting about that weird behavior we notice trying to install Umbraco on a load balanced environment.
IWe have followed the wiki recommandation about load balancing with Umbraco located here :
