    Sub Domains don't work

    Installing umbraco

    Please explain to us what we need to be done to the site in 2 languages will work.

     · We have  sub domains:  ru.mydomain.com and es.mydomain.com

    · Updated the DNS according

    · Our admin system configured the IIS to recognize this subdomein .

    · The Spanish and Rusiion node of the site are directed under 'Manage hostname' to Sub Domains.

     

    And nothing works ....

    Kukuwka,

    • Put entries in DNS so both domains point to same IP
    • Set IIS up to point both domains (via host headers) to Umbraco website
    • Set hostname in Umbraco on each node in the content tree

    If the above are done correctly then it all should work.

    By nothing works you mean you can't see the umbraco instance?
