    Do you have a backup?

have a 4.9 backup.. there are some good bug fixes in the 4.11 release but my other post about the trailing / and virtual apps is causing major problems... I'm not sure moving back it the best thing... every release is like 2 steps forward, 3 steps back... need this fixed like ASAP...

Have you considered rolling 'back' to 4.10.1? There aren't all that many differences (from a file-perspective) and 4.11.0 has some interesting bugs.

Another possibility: have you touched (open/re-save) the global.asax? For some reason that seems to resolve some other problems with 4.11.0 (even if you've already restarted your app pool or even IIS).

I'm thinking about rolling back to 4.10.1 - we ran that for a couple weeks with no problems on another site. just tried touching the global.asax and didn't see any changes to the issues we're experiencing... do you know what is involved to rollback to 4.10.1 or if there is any documentation on what to do? I guess I could reverse the installation instructions...

I would just follow the instructions for upgrading from 4.10.x to 4.11.0 (in reverse). Don't forget to increase your version number in config/ClientDependency.config.

One more disappointemnt from Umbraco since 5.0 "release". This is far from stable. So many problems. Have you managed to downgrade?

I'm actually rolling back to 4.9.1 - there were some issues that were recurring under 4.10.x as well... everything seems normal now in one environment after rolling back to 4.9.1... will rollout tonight and see if that corrects the issues...
