Site broken when transferring to new server

    Hello,

I have just attemtped to move my live site onto my new umbraco installation running on Azure.

The site works perfectly at http://taxiroute2.azurewebsites.net/

Following the azure instructions for pointing a domain I amended the DNS CName and A record information and this has now taken effect.

But, when I try and access the site using the full domain I get an error of:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
    at umbraco.requestHandler..ctor(XmlDocument umbracoContent, String url)
    at umbraco.UmbracoDefault.Page_PreInit(Object sender, EventArgs e)
    at System.Web.Util.CalliEventHandlerDelegateProxy.Callback(Object sender, EventArgs e)
    at System.EventHandler.Invoke(Object sender, EventArgs e)
    at System.Web.UI.Page.OnPreInit(EventArgs e)
    at System.Web.UI.Page.PerformPreInit()
    at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint)

This error can be seen at www.taxiroute.co.uk

Have I forgotten to do something to umbraco to configure it please?

    Many thanks

    Trevor

    some extra information....

I can successfully log into umbaco using the new taxiroute.co.uk domain name...

Umbraco is telling me that the homepage has an id of 1049 but the error message says that it's trying to get to 1053...

when i go to http://www.taxiroute.co.uk/1049.aspx it takes me to my homepage correctly but when i go to http://www.taxiroute.co.uk/1053.aspx i get a page not found...

    can anyone help please?

    thanks

    Trev
