It all worked fine and i have begun creating and testing my local site. Soon i will be ready to migrate my local version to a web hosted site. I undertsand that i can copy over all the local files to the hosted site but i was wondering if any one had any experience with migrating what ever database cassini uses to an ms database?
Does Cassini have a built in DB? I thought it was just a web server.... are you sure your not running an 'embedded' DB from VistaDB?
You could always create a package for you full website. This is usually quite easy.
Just browse to the developer section and select all you Doctypes, templates, css, content, etc. Then you would create a clean Umbraco install on your live environment and import the package.
