    Back-end browser support

    Installing umbraco

    Are there any limitations to which browsers are supported by the backend (admin tool)? I have just installed 4.11.3 and I can't bring up the back-end with IE8 but it works with Chrome.

    Hi Jonas

    I must admit it's been a while since I've used IE8 to browse the backoffice but I think it should be supported. Are you by any chance using "Quirks mode" or is it a true IE8 you're using?

    It works with IE9...however it can be hard to see that nodes are being published (no indications).

    However the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox and IE should be supported.
