    The umbraco admin section is messed up?

    The umbraco admin section is messed up? The site works fine but when logging in as admin the admin section is not working, se attached screen dump

    http://www.executivesearches.se/ works fine but the admin section at http://www.executivesearches.se/umbraco/ is crazy. Screendump here:

     

    What do you guys think I have done wrong? I have tryied it with both MS SQL and MySQL but wth exact same result

    Hi Johan

    This is most likely because of permissions not being set correctly on the root folder containing Umbraco. Make sure to give full permission for the IIS_IUSR group. That should fix the issue.

    Also make sure that you have done alle the steps described in the installation guide here http://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Installation/

    If the above does not work then try to delete the temporary client dependency files in the app_data/TEMP folder. Also try to increment the version number in the /config/Clientdependency.config file.

    Thanks for your time to try to solve my problem. A mangage to create a workaround by using my local webserver on my development machine to edit the live database. My provider says there is something extra needed to be setup to make Umbraco work at their place. They just configured another umbraco installation 2 moths ago that now works just fine. They'll get back to me tomorrow to let my know exactly what is needed to configure on the webserver
