Deploy to azure manually - The service is unavailable error
I have successfully created an Umbraco Azure website from the web gallery option and using SQL Azure, all up and running with umbraco v 4.11.3 (Assembly version: 1.0.4760.34993).
However I have an existing Umbraco site (umbraco v 4.11.1 (Assembly version: 1.0.4715.27659)) which i want to move from a Azure virtual server to an Azure website (as above) I have deployed all the webfiles and seeing as my SQL azure database already exists for the visrtual server I have added it as a linked resource which in turn creates the conntection string or me. All good so far.
However when i try to view the site i get "This service is unavailable" error. Also on the backend login i get incirrect password even though I know for sure that is correct.
Ok looks like I've solved this one...even though i have linked the server and it creates the connection string of the web config you deploy with the website does not mactch this it will not work. Weird as I thought the azure control panel stuff would override this...
