I've installed Umbraco using the full source code version.
During setup, I installed 4 skins to experiement with. Unfortunately, when I go to 'Install Skin' in the Developer tab, and click 'install' under one of the skins, nothing happens. The skin doesn't change and neither are any exceptions thrown. Everything else seems to work, although I've not done much with it yet.
I have this version: Umbraco v6.0.4 (Assembly version: 1.0.4868.33362) and my PC is running Windows 8
Perhaps I am doing something wrong, or perhaps something is wrong with Umbraco - I don't know, but I'd really appreciate some advice about how to change the skin on my site.

I found this article about file permissions, and ran the batch file to set the permissions (including making the amendments suggested for Windows 7 & 8) but it made no difference.
