    Previous versions and documention gone

First, not very happy about all previous versions other than the bleeding edge version being removed from CodePlex. We were in the middle of planning to upgrade our current version 4.7.0 site one stable release at a time. Now, all those updates and their documentation are gone. I am tasked with writing a document to justify upgrading and no where any longer can I find a list of features and major bugs fixed since 4.7. All there is are a few blog posts and a list of bug fixes for the latest bleeding edge version.

Where can I find a comprehensive list of features added and bugs fixed since version 4.7?

    Hi Connie

The unofficial Umbraco archive is to the rescue then http://code.leekelleher.com/umbraco/archive/ - I must stress that everyone should follow the patch guidelines provided by Umbraco HQ here http://umbraco.com/follow-us/blog-archive/2013/5/1/security-update-two-major-vulnerabilities-found.aspx and the patches are also available from the first link.

The guidelines for upgrading are found here http://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Installation/Upgrading/

It includes the most essential stuff. However the changes made in the web.config from v4.10 is not possible to find at the moment, which is a shame. But I believe it should still be possible to use winmerge to figure out what to change and not.

However it would be nice if HQ would provide the link so it can be done manually as well.

Hope this helps a bit though.

    Happy upgrading.

    /Jan

    Hi Connie

Just came accross another post where I found the link to Google docs that describes the web.config changes in 4.10.

    You'll find it here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1R1cYt3a5gJLdhU5wvUsP-7KPaHbCO-gnzm07FRNk51c/edit

Thanks!  This is very helpful as we may apply the security hot fix now while we continue to test an upgrade to the latest version.
