Hi, not sure if this is the right category for this topic. Here's what is happening. When I go to delete nodes from the Recycle Bin I sporadically end up with NO content in the /umbraco folder in my install. It seems to delete all files and folders in there which obviously renders the CMS broken. Has anyone seen this before?
Version: 4.0.1.2 Windows 2003 SQL Server2005
It has happened on several occasions but it isn't consistent.
Yes, I have had this happen on several occassions but have not been able to replicate with any consistency.
It usually happens if I delete one node (or media item) from the tree, right click and choose delete. If I then right click another node and delete it, it might not be the actual node selected for deleting. The actual node it is trying to delete may sometimes be the one just deleted in whcih case nothing happens, or it may be the containing folder which can cause major headaches.
Now I check when the delete warning box comes up that the node I am deleting is the same as the node mentioned in the warning box.
I use FireFox in case this is a browser issue. And have experienced on v4.x

Looks like this can be caused by Umbsearch2

Thanks Tim,
I seems you are right. Unfortunately that problem was never reported on codeplex.
Hans is fixing the bug as we speak.
