    How to install UMB6 on IIS8

    I am looking for detailed instructions of how to install the latest version of Umbraco 6 on Windows Server 2012 with IIS8. All docs in the Wiki are for older versions of IIS.

    Hi Connie

    Installing Umbraco 6 with IIS 8 should be the same process as with earlier version of IIS - I have done it a couple of times not having any problems.

    Have you tried yet and ran into some issues...or?

    Haven't tried the install yet.  Just trying to be proactive as Microsoft loves to through us curve balls by changing every version of IIS enough to make things difficult.

    This will be a clean install so hopefully will go well.

    Yep i have done it with IIS8, i would do it with IIS and not web matrix :).
