How about asp.net version? Is IIS configured correctly for v3 to work flawlessly. Me thinks v3 is still compiled against asp.net v1.1 (not sure), so it might be the issue here?
Hi dirk, when I opening sources in VS it says it's for v2 and if I wan't upgrade to v3.5. So I don't think it's source of my problems (and v 1.1 is installed).
My company website is still running version 3 of Umbraco. It's running on a windows 2008 64 bit version Virtual server. I have no issues with it. I've set the IIS Application Pool to Classic Mode.
Hello, can anybody confirm using Umbraco 3 on windows 2008 server
Hi, I have problem run umbraco 3 on client selected hosting (which I cannot change).

Can anybody please confirm that v3 can run on windows server 2008 and I'd like to ask for 64bit version too.
Thanks

Acctually I have just troied to upgrade the latest ver 4 but I am not too savy with all the database stuff.
So, I could not complete it successfully and I have restored my earlier version. :(
Anyhow, the beta is running fine as said.
