After upgrading Umbraco from 6.0.5. to 6.1.2 I'm unable to open the media node. It only displays "Loading ...". The CPU usage on the webserver stays at 80%.
There are two pending requests when I'm looking at the network traffic:
/umbraco/webservices/TreeDataService.ashx
/base/FolderBrowserService/GetChildren/-1
Another side effect is, that some unpublished content nodes are suddenly visible. It's not possible to delete the nodes (error message: no document exists with ID ...).
It seems there is a problem when running the site with SQL Server Compact as database. After migrating to a "real" SQL Server the media node was loaded successfully.

Honestly I have no clue as far as the issue goes.
Hopefully you backed the site up before you upgraded.
I'd restore the backup in the mean time.
I always test new releases locally before I put them live.
If you restore the backup you could try v6.0.7. Maybe it will work?
