I am trying to install Umbraco 4.11.10 on a UnoEuro webhotel using a MySQL database (since I am aware, that Umbraco 6.x is incompatible). When I run through the installation, the MySQL configuration fails and provides me with the following stack trace:
Error installing tables
MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException (0x80004005): Cannot change column 'ID': used in a foreign key constraint 'UMBRACONODE_ibfk_1' of table 'nadjask_dk_db.UMBRACONODE' at MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlStream.OpenPacket() at MySql.Data.MySqlClient.NativeDriver.ReadResult(UInt64& affectedRows, Int64& lastInsertId) at MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlDataReader.GetResultSet() at MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlDataReader.NextResult() at MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlCommand.ExecuteReader(CommandBehavior behavior) at MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlCommand.ExecuteNonQuery() at MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlHelper.ExecuteNonQuery(MySqlConnection connection, String commandText, MySqlParameter[] commandParameters) at MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlHelper.ExecuteNonQuery(String connectionString, String commandText, MySqlParameter[] parms) at umbraco.DataLayer.SqlHelpers.MySql.MySqlHelper.ExecuteNonQuery(String commandText, MySqlParameter[] parameters) at umbraco.DataLayer.SqlHelper`1.ExecuteNonQuery(String commandText, IParameter[] parameters)
I don't know what to do about this, of if I am even able to do anything?
I have tried wiping all files from my FTP client and deleting all tables in my database, and starting from scratch (several times), but nothing changes. I have even tried installing Umbraco 4.8.1 - no change.

Please help me!!! :)
I'm experiencing the same problem - both on 4.11.10, 4.11.9 and 4.11.8. Have installed 4.11.8 many times on Unoeuro before without any problems.
I installed couple of 4.11.10 instances with MySql without any problems. Now I get this error. Anybody knows why?
I did back and then continued installation. Looks like it works.
Actually, installation finishes but it breaks when creating templates.
is working on a reply...
