    Urgent Help - Server Errors

    Installing umbraco

    Dear Community,

    I have just updated FTP information using the Plesk dashboard for hosting websites. 

    The website was working correctly before this change, but once the FTP user/password was updated, the following errors occured. http://www.glmmarkets.com (First an installation page, then errors if you click on set up new site)

    How can changing FTP information in Plesk, cause Umbraco to crash. Is there any way to fix this?

    I would be so grateful for some information.

    Hi Dafydd,

    I have worked as well with Plesk for hosting websites, but gone away from it. It had some issues where it sometimes remove the write permissions from folders and files when changing or updating the FTP information.

    I could imagine that was the issue you got. Generally Plesk does a lot of wierd stuff on your website.

    Hi Dafydd,

    I agree with Neils. I would highly recommend to use Azure if the client can afford it or you can also use Arvixe
