    Choose Document types: empty list

    Hello,

    I've just installed umbraco. I was busy with trying something.

    I tried to add a item in the content by clicking [Create]. I filled a name for the new item. Willing to choose a document type, the list is empty. Do I have to install something to have a filled list?

    Umbraco Verson 6.1.5.

    Windows 8, IIS version 8

    Hi Corbins,

    Do you have rights for creating this node under your parent node ? Did you read some articles about node creating, nodeTypes and other things in Umbraco ?

    In addon to Alex post, I think this is a good starting point to learn about template and document types, or just basic stuff of Umbraco,

    Hi Dennis,

     

    The solution was to add some allowed nodes in the homepage.No nodes were allowed. By checking a few Document Types as allowed on the Homepage, it was possible to add a TextPage.

    Indeed, I don't know how to mark a question as solved. ;-)

    By clicking the High five on the right?

    May bee, it takes a few days for me to do so, because I've to go to the hospital for a few days.

    Hi Cor,

    When you find the right answer, under the person who have give you the solution, to the problem, there is a green tick. I have made a screenshot from one of my posts to show you where to find the green tick. Then click on it.
