As an agency we are just starting to use Umbraco for our sites. I'm loving the look of Umbraco 7 and hope to start using it as soon as we are able to. I am currently looking to hire a front end dev person to expand the team which is currently just me (lonely) and I am holding interviews tomorrow. With U6 I was in no doubt of what skill I had to look for but now with U7 I am wondering...with AngularJS and everything...should I be looking for a different set of skills? I can handle design, HTML ,CSS, amd JQuery myself but I lack in javascript, angular and node. I was looking for someone with .NET skills but is this necessary with U7?
I'd say you need someone with Umbraco / .NET skills if you are doing the front end work. I've not used v7 much but essentially I think you only need Angular knowledge it you want to extent the datatypes, mostly you won't need to. Also if you do it seems quite straight forward for a javascript person.

Many thanks for any advice on this topic.
See you in November if you're at the festival!
