    how to add my umbraco cms application to iis server?

    I am running umbraco cms 6.1.2 locally in my system and connected to sql server also.Now i want to add "umbraco cms" to iis server but i failed?how to resolve this issue?can you help me any one?

    Siva,

    So you are running umbraco in Visual Studio?

    Have you ever setup any other websites in IIS? Is the IIS server going to be your local machine?

    hi,

     No,I dotn't have sln file.so i am not able to run even in visual studio.I tried to setup small website earlier.it worked but i amnot able to run "umbraco cms".

    Siva,

    You need to provide more information - you say you are running Umbraco locally - what exactly does that mean?

    Are you trying to deploy /setup Umbraco on another machine or are you just trying to run it locally but under IIS?

    You setup a small website earlier? In IIS? Is it an ASP.Net website?

    Have you ever setup an ASP.Net based application in IIS?

    2 possible problems with a new umbraco website in IIS:
    - does the iis user has enough rights on the umbraco folder?
    - Is your application pool running .net Framework 4
