    First login: problem!

    Hi to all

    I'm newbie on CMS. I've installed (offline) Umbraco on webserver IIS 6 (WinXP) and I updated .net framework to 4.

    I read all infos about installation, and it' all ok.. but when I started "default.aspx" it redirect me on "login.aspx" page.

    I've configured also SQL MSE creating database and user... but login doesn't work. If I put into user and password my data stored on SQL database it doesn't grant any access!

    In my opinion there are any setting to do to communicate at Umbraco that must connect to my database...

     

    Can anyone help me?

    Hi Renix,

    Have you stepped through /install/ first before accessing other pages? Did the install pages successfully setup your database?

    If not, have you enabled TCP/IP Client Protocol on your local SQL Server instance?
