I just install a Umbraco version 7 RC for some days ago on a SQLCE and I have no problems logging in to the backend.

When I visit the URL you provide in your post, I get an lots of NetworkError: 404 Not Found in the console. (jQuery and angularJS) an example could be:

"NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://test.maxelmo.nl/umbraco/lib/angular/1.1.5/angular.min.js"

The files are there.

I'm running the application under Network Service, and this user has the correct rights on the files.

I downloaded the package from the internet, and before I installed it, I Unblocked the ZIP.

But unfortunately the back-end is still not working.

Not sure what other thinks need to be set.

Update: I get an error 400, bad request on

http://sterrenwachtcopernicus.azurewebsites.net/umbraco/UmbracoApi/Authentication/IsAuthenticated

I can login, using #/login, but I can not create any new pages. I upgraded from Umbraco 7 RC to Umbraco 7 at the moment.

I am having the same problem and my umbraco password doens work on that login screen. I just purchase umbraco and I am still unable to cmplete the installation becuase of this problem. I am running out of time to complete my project. 

Has anyone found a solution to get pass that login screen to complete the installation? I am running umbraco from Visual Studio 2013 in a MVC application.

I have the same problem.  I did a new install of 7.1.4 yesterday and was able to login the first time, did some work and now today I cannot login.  I re installed a few times, still does not work.  I'm working in VS 2012 MVC application.  I see the inputs are populated with @placeholders_username and @placeholders_password which I assume was not intended.

please, go to the DB and find the umbraco.User Table.

Enter the following for testing if there is a umbraco break:

admin as userLogin W477AMlLwwJQeAGlPZKiEILr8TA= as userPassword

Then enter in the login Screen admin and use test as password.
