Umbraco on WinServer2008: Data Execution Prevention
Sigh. When I try to install Umbraco on my WinServer 2008 machine, the Web Platform Installer fails due to some kind of Data Execution Prevention issue. But I'm not allowed to have DEP ignore the Installer!! Sheesh, doesn't Microsoft trust >>itself<<??
In any event, is there a workaround for installing Umbraco on Windows Server 2008?
I'm running Umbraco on a Win 2008 Server - but I didn't use the Web Platform Installer - I just copied the files over and modified what I needed to modify (aka web.config) and etc and ran it from there. No issues there.

Duh! Why didn't I think of that?? Too much "follow the instructions, I guess".
