I just learned something interesting that I'd like to share.
If you create an Umbraco site (actually, any website) under IIS, and then delete it, you won't be able to re-add a site using the same name until you delete the application that gets created for the site. Under IIS Manager (v7) you can find that application by clicking on Application Pools under the node for your server.
