    404 on Setting Culture and Hostname

    Hey all,

    I am running umbraco v6.1.6 (Assembly version: 1.0.5021.24867) on a shared hosting. Currently there are two languages for the site design and when I try to set culture and hostname I get 404 page error and nothing happens.

    Since it is a shared hosting, could it be file/folder permission related issue, or is it something bigger? Where should I look for a solution, what could be the possible reasons?

    Is there anyway to set these by hardcoding.

    I would be glad if you could guide me through. Thank you in advance

     still couldn't find any solution. Hosting provider confirmed all the permissions are set correctly.

    When I check Api url below, it gives me 404
    mysite.com/umbraco/Api/DomainsApi/SaveLanguageAndDomains

    OK, figured it - it was because the app pool was set to 'classic' mode rather than 'integrated'.
