I suppose to install umbraco with a hosting company (my case webhost'life) i have to:
1. create a SQL Server database and
2. download - extract/unzip locally umbraco4.0.2.1-webdeploy and ftp the contents to a directory on the hosting company server
3. Set correct permissions on server/directory?
Is this correct or what else should be done?

Yup :) You could also use the other binary zip-file, which features an installer. But if you are experienced with manually setting up things, the webdeploy is sufficient. umbraco also works nice on the MySQL database
