There is a new site in Umbraco 6.1.6 we want to host it as http://mysite.com/newsite - is this possible?
I have tried to do it by configuring the new site as virtual directlory but its hsowing different config errors - is there anyone tried something similar?
I know how to setup reverse proxy to make sub folder URLs for diffeent websites - but is there any easy solution without using reverse proxy?
Have you tried right clicking on the application and converting it to an application. You may also need to modify the parent web.config so that the sub site doesn't inherit any settings. (This may help with that part: http://bit.ly/1lJqDXF )
Could cause issues if both are running different versions of .NET though.
Is it possible to host an Umbraco site in a sub folder of another Umbraco site
We have a site http://mysite.com made with Umbraco 4.7

Hi,

If possible, I would probably save myself any headache and run it as it's own site in IIS, but on a subdomain like http://beta.mysite.com, http://preview.mysite.com or http://newsite.mysite.com etc. Especially if this is just temporary
Hi
Did you sort it out? We are trying to do the same.
is working on a reply...
