I keep getting this error. I tried re-installing with no change. MS SQL looks to be installed correctly and working. Please help!

As Skiltz has said, does the umbracoConfigurationStatus have a value in the web.config?

Did you have any errors when you did your original installation?

Does the "/install/default.aspx" folder still exist in your website root or have you deleted it?

    Cheers,

    Chris

i've already posted about this but just found this so i will hijack this lol

    I have the same problem!

"/install/default.aspx" is there, i am having trouble finind the web.config file (in windows 7), i've found the Configureation Editor and have increased the excuation timeout in the httpRuntime section which is what it states in the error screen.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
