    Empty admin mode

    Hi,

I've created an empty ASP.NET MVC 4 application and installed Umbraco Cms nuget package.

When I log in to admin mode, I don't have buttons for creating and editing pages.

Please take a look at this image for more details:http://dcaric.com/ew-images/20140723/01.png

I'm using Visual Studio 2012. I don't get any error messages in debug mode.

Do you know how I can fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dejan and welcome to our.

First you could just try to reload the url for the Umbraco backoffice http://localhost:61027/umbraco

If it doesn't do it then try logout, and log back in again, or maybe you could try to clear your browser cache, and then login again.

Other thing could be that you didn't have the right permissions for your installation.

Try to see this documentation on how your files and folders permissions should be  http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/files-and-folders/permissions

    Hope this helps.

    /Dennis

    Hi Dennis,

    Thank you for prompt reply!
The problem was in browser cache.

First I tried with pressing CTRL + F5 multiple times in Google Chrome, but that didn't help.
Then I tried to run the application in incognito mode and that worked.

So after deleting cookies and cached files from the begging of time, everything works fine.
