I have a demo site hosted on the most basic of basic Azure sites. The site works fine but often gors a couple of days without being hit.
When it's hit for the first time in a few days it throws a Service unavailable error, and stays unavailable for a minute or so before reloading fine and then there are no further issues.
Had anyone seen this before? I ask because I'm tempted to use azure in production but not of if this is a known issue!
It's Umbraco v7.1.8 and there is nothing in the errors logs...
It's an error from Azure, nothing to do with Umbraco. To prevent, simply point Uptime Robot to the site: https://uptimerobot.com/ (free!). It will get pinged every 5 minutes so the application pool should keep on running all of the time.
