Can somebody check me? I am new to Umbraco, so I am not sure if I'm over complicating things here.
Production Environment in the DMZ
Beta Environment in the DMZ used for UAT (required)
QA Environment internal used for our QA department
Each developer will have a implementation that will use uSync as a source control mechanism with QA.
New developer process: 1) install and configure a umbraco site locally; 2) configure uSync to QA; 3) their changes back to QA using uSync.
New project process: 1) Create in QA; 2) uSync down to dev environment; 3) uSync to Beta, then Production.
Release Management Process: 1) dev local; 2) uSync to and from QA; 3) uSync to Beta; 4) uSync to Production.
** is it possible that I should use courier between qa, beta, and production? ...and just use uSync for Local Dev and QA?
Thanks, Brian Sausser
You could use Courier, but personally I'd stick with uSync. Courier I might opt for if you have an environment for content editing and the pushing that content to production.
