    Problem with RoleProviders on first install

    Hi All,

    I have site which I have finished developing on my dev environment which worked fine, but when doing the install on www.softsyshosting.com I get the following error: Request Failed

    Line 124:      <providers>
    Line 125:        <clear />
    Line 126:        <add name="UmbracoRoleProvider" type="umbraco.providers.members.UmbracoRoleProvider" />
    Line 127:      </providers>
    Line 128:    </roleManager>

    I have got full trust on which has been setup by the hosting company I have also changed all permissions.

    I have been looking at this for a day or so now and cant seem to solve the problem, any help would be much appreciated

    Its the latest version 4.0.3, SQL 2008

    Hi Tom,

    I have the exact same problem. Your site seems to work at the moment. Did you manage to solve this problem? If so, how?

    Hi Peter,

    Sorry for the late reply, I dont seem to get emails telling me people have responded.

    Anyway the problem where the issues on the server, the rights where not set for the Network Service on the root folder. I changed and it all now works :)
