The company for which I work are looking to use Umbraco for the development of our new website. I'm trying to put together a design for the underlying infrastructure, but can find no guide as to the components or how they fit together. Any pointers? There seems to have been similar requests over the years but to no avail.
The site will be hosted in two geographically separate DMZ's and load balanced (GSLB) using Netscalers. It's the inside set-up that I can't get a handle on. What servers are needed? what Db's? what should a staging env look like? As there are two DMZ's how is this catered for?
If no documentation exists would anyone care to share their solutions for such a set-up.
