Umbraco 4.11.1 and upgrading Sql Server 2008 to Sql Server 2008 R2 gave YSOD or noNodes.aspx error.
We have a site running 4.11.1. We will be upgrading next year to Umbraco 7. But for now we are running this for our site.
Back to our issue.
Our server running our database is running SQL Server 2008. We tried to upgrade to SQL Server 2008 R2, and when we did this, we got a YSOD and the error that showed was on the YSOD was about the /config/splashes/noNodes.aspx
What happened? Could we get around this somehow? Would I have to republish the whole site, even through we had nodes that we set as unpublished until later?
I was not sure if the connection just failed to the DB and the app pool and the IIS just needed stopped and restarted or if the whole site needed republished or somthing. That is my assumption. But we had to revert back to a previous snapshot of the server until we get another chance to do the upgrade.
