Running an Umbraco 7.2 instance on a live server (godaddy).
Everything seems to be working fine and client is happy.
However, I would like (maybe in the future) to upgrade the current version to the latest version (currently 7.3) - but as a matter of fact, I am really worried about that (fear of losing a live and working site).
Unlike many other frameworks (WordPress, Drupal) there is no automatic version update (on production where I cannot use Nuget),
and the upgrade process requires so many manual actions (including WinDiff !) and backups which really make me postpone this upgrade until I will have no other solution.
Is there are roadmap of future plan to add an option of automatic and clear upgrade process ?
Am I missing anything here ?
Why there is no automatic version update ?
