    install umbraco 7.4.1 via nuget is slow

    It is 20 min into the install,

    ....
    Attempting to resolve dependency 'ImageProcessor (≥ 2.3.3 && < 3.0.0)'.
    Attempting to resolve dependency 'ImageProcessor.Web (≥ 4.5.3 && < 5.0.0)'.
    Attempting to resolve dependency 'semver (≥ 1.1.2 && < 2.0.0)'.
    Attempting to resolve dependency 'UrlRewritingNet (≥ 2.0.7 && < 3.0.0)'.
    Attempting to resolve dependency 'Markdown (≥ 1.14.4 && < 2.0.0)'.

    It seems kind stuck on Markdown, my internet is not bad. Is this normal, should i restart ?

    Do you have Resharper installed ? Sometimes it can help to suspend Resharper while installing Umbraco through nuget.

    In visual studio go to Tools>Options and find resharper. Click on the suspend Now button.

    Install Umbraco with nuget

    And activate resharper again.

    I didn't install Resharper.

    I managed to install umbraco 7.4, then i am trying to upgrade to 7.4.1 using nuget.

    i am getting this for last 20 minutes:

    Updating 'UmbracoCms' from version '7.4.0' to '7.4.1' in project 'xxxx'.

    wish looks more stuck to me than downloading anything. Any idea about how to debug or fix this problem ?

    Hi Bruno

    I'm no nuget expert but I suspect it might be the nuget server that is slow sometimes unless it might be a piece of software causing it. A slow 3rd party server is out of your hands unfortunately.

    Just my 2 cents.
