    not found vista db

    Hi everybody,

    I'm trying to set up a local installation using the embededd vista db database (I'm just a beginner); I followed all the instructions but during the setting up of the site i get this error msg:

    Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Documents and Settings\919624\Desktop\DESK\PERS\umbraco_403\data\vistadb\VistaDB.vdb3'.

    actually the vistadb.vdb3 file is really missing ...... could anybody help me please ??

    Hi,

    Please check if there is a vistadb folder in de data folder. It probably is missing, so create that folder.

    Then, run the installer again and it should install fine.

    If the folder is present, then double-check and then triple-check the permissions on all files and folder.
