    Installing Umbraco on server with DotNetNuke (DNN)?

    Has anyone here has Umbraco running side by side with DNN on the same server? Any issues?

    Hi there,

    I have a dev server at home running Windows Server 2008 with Umbraco 4.0.1, Umbraco 4.1 beta 2, nopCommerce and DNN on. All run fine, they are just asp.net websites at the end of the day

    Hi Derek,

    Don't have it running myself but I think you can run it side by side. You can install Umbraco as the root and you can install DNN in a virtual folder. Exclude the path to your DNN site in the webconfig of Umbraco. I think it's best to use seperate databases for Umbreaco and DNN.

    And test it first on your local machine ;-)
