When I duplicatie my installation (I copy files and db) I get strange things when I log in to the cms. I see no content and all the icons at the bottom (content , settings, developer, etc) are now all the same.

Sounds much like a permission issue. Make sure to double-check permissions or run this script.

The issue is that when I delete db and files and start over it usually does work.

I copy data from sql2008 db to sql2005 db with dataexport
Copy files form my dev to acceptance
I resolved the issue. Someone did a data export without emptying the target tables.
